Cheddi Jagan International Airport Abuse Report

The security personnel are quite rude. They were very snarky to my American husband. They made him pay a “fee” to enter the airport. They also stole his luggage tags and cover. Customer service act like bullies, sizing up passengers who look good for a shakedown. They will ask to check your passport many times, they will try to fine you for random acts, just be bold and don't give in. They usually leave you alone when they see you're not an easy target.
