Unfortunately, I had to pass through Havana airport. It was a disaster, as the staff there treated me in an extremely impolite and prejudiced way due to my size. They glared and laughed at me and seemed to enjoy taunting me. I was helpless, I couldn't even say anything back. This was made worse by the fact that the seating area was incredibly confined and uncomfortable, making it difficult for me to find a spot to sit. Furthermore, the bathrooms were filthy. This encounter was appalling and I would not recommend anyone who is overweight to have to go through this. Such a biased and rude attitude from the staff at José Martí International Airport is unacceptable.
