I had an unfortunate situation at Jacksons International Airport where I was targeted by the staff and ultimately missed my flight. Upon arriving at the airport, I was approached by a staff member and questioned about my destination and why I was traveling. The staff member seemed to be singling me out and asking more questions than necessary. After 30 minutes of questioning, I was allowed to proceed, but I was then stopped again and asked to show my boarding pass. I was then told that I had missed my flight and was not allowed to board. I felt targeted and discriminated against due to my race (I'm black) and this incident left me feeling frustrated and angry. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable and I urge the airport to take action to ensure that this kind of incident does not happen again.
