Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) Abuse Report

I am over 80 years old, and a regular traveler to Thailand. This time when I was leaving Thailand on November 10, 2024, and on my way to the gate, I asked a Thai gentleman to confirm whether the gate in front of me was affiliated with Oman Air, he looked at me arrogantly and asked me to follow him, I asked him where he is taking me he told me just to follow him and not ask questions, I knew from his behaviour that he is an arrogant civilian policeman, so I told him that my luggage already in the plane and I have to arrive Muscat by today because my children were waiting, he ignored my words and took my passport and stamped it with (VOID), expelled me from the airport without explaining the reason and asked me to act my own, I was shocked by this rudeness in a country that encourages tourism were staff should have a friendly & professional airport assistance for passengers worldwide. I was scared to ask his name or to take his photo. He made me lose my ticket. I called my children and told them I did not have enough money to buy a new ticket and to stay for a night. It was a tough day for my children and me but thanks to God, they were able to book me a hotel close to the airport and a return ticket. I hope that the employees and even the police, especially the civilians, will treat the committed tourist travellers with all respect and a warning will be issued to those who violate this.
