I applied for transit visa on TDAC 3 days ago, there are 5 hrs between my connecting flights.
After the first flight, I went to one Information counter to ask where is the next flight gate and where is 7-11. After getting the answers, I head over to next flight gate and passed through security check.
I then asked where is 7-11, I got the answer from another Information counter staff that it is outside and I cannot go out. But I told her the first staff did not mention this to me at all, and I really want to go out to just buy something, she then said I can go out.
I walked for almost 30min to the immigration counter, and I was stopped by another staff, she told me transit hours less than 6 hours are not allowed to go out. I have to ask another male staff, who wanted to threaten me and take away my passport! (I believe all these are captured in CCTV).
If less then 6 hours are not allowed to go out, then why when I applied for TDAC there is no indication when my transit hours is only 5 hours? Why the first Information counter staff never told me 5 hours is too short? Why second Information counter staff allowed me to go out?
How dare the 4th staff threatened to take my passport and shout at me?
