This is not about any abuse of any official (none to be seen other than at passport control)
Arrived from Prague with the knowledge that we had nearly a 5 hour layover before our flight back to Manchester.
Endless corridors with no toilet facilities transferring from landing gate to K terminal. Massive terminal which we searched to get a meal and drink but NO such facilities available.
Could have Sushi (yuck) or Caviar or cold sandwiches with cans/bottles of drinks from places like Relax and Ekki. The only outlet offering warm food was Pret A Manger where rather expensive Quiches were available. Cold drinks of wine, beer or sodas could only be consumed directly or out of paper cups.
Absolutely disgusted at the lack of facilities in such a large and quite busy international departure terminal.
This was our first time in CDG, unfortunately not our last, and it is the worst airport encountered for getting hot food.
Schiphol, Prague, Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, JFK, Atlanta, Dubai, Philadelphia and many other airports have far superior facilities in this respect.
Could have bought 100+ whiskies, but only one Cognac in Duty free and shopped and umpteen designer fashion shops like Hermes, Lacoste etc. but unable to purchase a hot meal which is totally ridiculous.
