Dear Hamad International Airport Immigration Management,
I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the conduct of one of your immigration officers during my wife’s arrival at Hamad International Airport.
Flight Number: QR665
Passport Number: N9151902
Arrival Route: Colombo (CMB) to Doha (DOH)
Arrival Time: Approximately 12:30 PM
My wife was traveling with our 3-year-old son. During the immigration process, she was attended by a female officer who had henna on her hands. Unfortunately, the officer behaved in a very rude and unprofessional manner. She raised her voice at my wife and repeatedly shouted at her to update her QID status, despite the fact that my wife had a valid return permit.
It was distressing to see residents being treated in such a disrespectful way, especially a mother traveling with a young child. Government officials are expected to treat all passengers with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
I kindly request that this incident be investigated and that appropriate action be taken to ensure such behavior does not happen again.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Yours sincerely,
Akram Rasool
