London Heathrow Airport — Security check system at LHR Abuse Report

It was very confusing when I was going through security. I saw a cell a few meters from where I was standing in the queue. I thought the cell was for scanning my body for a security check. But a gate about 3 meters ahead was actually the security gate, which I didn't know, and passed through it. I have a pacemaker for my heart. It is not good for my health to go through such electronical gate. It would say that such an arrangement is very confusing situation. There were no clear marking. Other airports I've departed fro, don't have such confusing situation.
