I had a truly terrible experience with an employee who bullied me, threatened me, and held me out of the line and then refused (of course) to give me his name - when manager (Amy) was called, she also refused to give last name and enabled the abuse and mistreatment that had happened with her employee. Both individuals were rude, inappropriate, and even threatened to prevent me from flying because I had questioned the idea of wasting millions of unnecessary plastic bags per week with these extremely outdated and poorly managed policies regarding general airport security.
I have the right to freedom of speech, and to express my concerns. Your agents do NOT have the right to bully me, threaten me, and then refuse to give their names.
ALL security personnel should be wearing CLEARLY VISIBLE name tags (the young man who was verbally very abusive completely refused to give me his name) and the entire process at Heathrow needs a lot of work and a much better attitude.
In addition, there should absolutely be a smokers area / lounge in Terminal 3 (and inside every airport terminal), this will minimize stress based conflicts a lot, AND exits and entrances should be MUCH more clearly marked, the emergency exits are a joke.
Overall my experience at this airport so far has been just terrible, I am truly disgusted by the low level of service, lack of basic features, and inappropriate treatment from security personell.
Get it together heathrow.
