Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG) Abuse Report

It was a worst nightmare to travel with Air France. The flight was delayed in Vancouver by 5 hours due to some issue with the plane tyre. No food was served while waiting. Then i landed in paris late because of which i missed my connecting flight to Delhi. By 12 pm i was at the Air france help desk. There were 5/6 representatives siting in front but only one was helping the people who were from my same flight. I even went to a representative asking for help. She responded i don’t know English i can’t help. Finally after waiting 1 hour in the line, someone came and asked me that why are you not talking to other representatives? I told her the representatives response. She told me come on i will assist and ask them to help you. I think she was a manager. She was indian. She was really helpful. Finally after spending 2 hours there she got us a flight with Vistara airline which was going to Delhi by 10pm on 13th oct,2024. Then i went to my terminal by 2pm so that i don’t miss my flight. When it was boarding time, i asked vistara’s representative to give me boarding passes. He denied to give boarding pass and kept on saying that my manager is saying your flight is on 14oct, 2024 with Air france. I literally begged him to let me talk to his supervisor. He didn’t let me talk to his manager. He kept on saying go back to Air france help desk which is a different terminal (30mins) away from the one where i was. I was crying and asking for help but he was bit listening at all. He was yelling at me and didn’t helped at all. I asked him to let me talk to Air france representative using his phone or his manger. He just responded “GO TO AIR FRANCE HELP DESK AND I DON’T HAVE TIME FOR THIS FURTHER HE LEFT THE COUNTER”. At the same time i was helping an old woman who was also travelling to india with me in the same flight. English wasn’t her first language that why i was helping her. I left her at the terminal with her bags and went to talk to Air France representatives at their help desk. Meanwhile, that lady got really tensed as the flight was leaving without taking me and her as our boarding was denied. When the Vistara airline representative was asked that why didn’t he allowed me and her to board the plane i didn’t had any answer. He said if i would have been not left he would’ve given me boarding passes!!! Which he was denying earlier! After all this mess, i accompanied old lady with me and went back to air france desk asking for a new flight and a lounge access to stay for the night as it was 11pm at night by that time. Finally by 12pm at night Air france representative booked our new flight for 14th oct, 2024 to delhi and gave us vouchers for the lounge and some for food.
I was travelling to attend my cousin’s wedding which was on 14th oct 2024. i missed it because of all this mess. It was a total harassment. No-one was helpful at the airport. 12 hours was spent at the airport where i didn’t eat properly didn’t sat peacefully. It was too stressful. I will never travel with Air france ever again in my life.
