I have health issues like diabetes, Gerd, ibs, and i was struggling with pain on my liver lvl all morning, I got close to my gate, but I had to use the bathroom before my flight takes off, the moment I got back to my gate, they had me step aside which instantly didn't feel right. They asked me to open my carry on and my backpack which ok, and then to take off my shoes, I asked why is this happening to me, they said normal procedure, and it's because I'm the last passenger which also was a lie, because people were boarding in front of my eyes and I'm sure there are cameras that can be checked, when I felt like it's all over, who seems to be their manager asked them to have me empty my carry on, my backpack and my pockets, and to take my shoes off again, they thought I won't understand them speaking french, they'd turn around giggle and then keep messing with me, then the manager threatened me to not make it to my flight if I don't stop talking. I mean of'course I won't make it when my luggage is all over the place. And after treating me like shit for over 15 minutes or so, and after the aircraft closed the door they said you good to go, so I had to repack my stuffs and run, lucking Delta is so nice to reopen the door for me. It felt like they profiled me just because my name was arab although I'm an american citizen. The manager was staring at me an asking if I got a problem, definitely felt like I'm in the presence of a mob. I've never been treated like that anywhere I fly to, right after I boarded I started trying to switch my future flights to other airports, because that was absolutely unacceptable. And I will complain to every single party about this.
