Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG) Abuse Report

I was going through TSA to catch a connecting flight to Budapest after I had already flown from the Atlanta airport to this one. They mocked me and my friend for our bags full of our travel sized liquids that we NEEDED for our over 2 week long trip that was not necessary to have a large checked bag for those things. They laughed in our faces about it then said they are supposed to be in a small sandwich bag when it was originally in a quart sized bag which is what I have ALWAYS used and never been stopped before which is always allowed in the Atlanta airport. They found this to be hysterical and would not listen to us as this is our first time in this airport and it’s simply for a short layover. If we had already known this fact upon booking it would not have been a problem. They were simply not understanding or kind about the matter. They threw away 40+ dollars worth of stuff that I needed for my trip. They threw away an item I needed for a healing wound as well. After the first two men laughed at us and mocked us in French clearly knowing we did not speak it our stuff was flagged. They also actively pointed at us and laughed. When it was flagged we spoke kindly to a man until he became rude which was really unjustified and he would not listen to us. He called over another man to help and he was even more rude. He aggressively grabbed the bin of stuff and slammed it down behind him as I was trying to fit my stuff in the small bag when I was not done and I had to beg for it back which I found to be ridiculous as I was cooperating. The first man also packed the bag for me without letting me help. I repeatedly asked if they considered my deodorant to be a liquid to which no one replied and the bin of my things was taken yet again. It resulted in me sobbing and genuinely never wanting to return to this airport. We were clearly targets of harassment and it has ruined the start of my trip. This all occurred in line 12 on TSA leading to customs and then to gates F.
