Manchester Airport (MAN) Abuse Report

I fly all over the word and into Manchester quite frequently. My frustration is with arrival staff. I cannot understand why staff have to tell you where to go, it doesn't happy at any other airport. There are big, clear signs directing people what lane to be in, yet, arrival staff stop people, ask if you are a UK passport holder and then direct you. This causes people to engage, slow and stop, creating backlogs. Interrupting people causes more confusion and distractions, just letting people manage their own arrival. Permit people to arrive, read and go where they need to go.
Also, when you get to the front of the queue at passport check is there a need to have staff tell you which isle/lane to go to, it is patently obvious. My main issue with arrivals is airport staff, they talk to people inappropriately, they are curt, impolite and at times quite aggressive. This need sorting out.
I have not detailed a flight or date, because it is constant, it is every time I arrive. There is no pleasantry when arriving at Manchester, in fact i dread it, I sense frustration the moment I start approaching the arrival gates. I am not alone with my feelings. I will be arriving at Manchester later this month, I hope that my experience will be more pleasant.
