We arrived, having booked a 3 hour slot and was told that we could only have 2 hours because the lounge was going to be closing. This obviously wasn't acceptable and we had also brought our teenage daughters in as a treat. We was then told our flight had been cancelled after being in the lounge for 45 minutes so the staff said we had to leave. The children were upset and one of them was thirsty and hungry. I tried to go and get her a drink and I was made to feel like a criminal or a drunk, the staff were saying do not serve her anymore she has been told to leave. My children were crying and I asked the staff if we would be reembursed. They said no it is not our fault nor our problem basically due to the flight been cancelled. We was also told we were classed as a security risk but we were ok to walk around and buy drinks in the airport? The children were tired and we had no help. It cost us £120 in the vip lounge for a couple of drinks, so we would like to be reembursed for this please.
