I have been traveling with Ethihad, Emirates & Qatar for a long time. Delhi airport check in staff constantly tries to make money from passengers about their weight baggage. I always travel from JFK or PHL airport and I always carry one 7kg bag for international flight and a personal bag that goes under the seat and does not count as a cabin bag.

When we landed and went thru Abu Dhabi and JFK we had no issues BUT this airport decides to change the rules that no other airport follows and decides to tell me I can only have 1 carry on bag with no personal bag. I need to get rid of one bag or pay 20,000 plus rupees for excess. I went back-and-forth and lower the rate, but still, I should not have to pay for something that is allowed by every other airport. If One airport allows it for the same flight. It should be a universal rule forAll. Constantly changing the rules based on an airport makes a traveler’s experience absolutely horrendous. It should be standard all throughout.

Absolutely disappointed with how this airport staff handles the situation with attitude and making fun of the passenger amongst their peers. I would like my money refunded.
